J.K. Rowling, creatrice del Wizarding World™®, presenta la serie di film Animali Fantastici, le avventure magiche ambientate prima di Harry Potter. Alla fine del primo film, il potente Mago Oscuro Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) viene catturato dal MACUSA (Il Magico Congresso degli Stati Uniti d’America), con l’aiuto di Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne). Tuttavia, come aveva minacciato, Grindelwald riesce a fuggire e inizia a radunare i suoi seguaci, la maggior parte dei quali sono ignari delle sue vere intenzioni: riunire dei maghi purosangue per governare su tutti gli esseri non-magici. Tentando di contrastare i piani di Grindelwald, Albus Silente (Jude Law) recluta il suo ex studente Newt Scamander, che accetta di aiutarlo, inconsapevole dei pericoli che si sarebbero prospettati. Si creano divisioni, l’amore e la lealtà vengono messi a dura prova anche tra gli amici più stretti e in famiglia, in un mondo magico sempre più diviso.

Valutazioni e recensioni

Very hard narrative to follow. The only redeeming quality I saw was the CG. At least the 'Fantastic Beasts' were well done, but beyond that I wish I didn't buy it.

What a gas! My Brother's and I, with the same Cinematography equipment, which the Dunn Brother's borrow, to even things out, could be on a level playing field, could scrounge together better actors, for the joy of producing a masterpiece as aposed to this fiasco. :-(

I don't understand the hate this movie received. Is it the best movie in the world...no..... is it the worst movie in the world... Absolutely not. I think this is much darker than all the previous movies (wizarding world). Depp is menacing as Grindelwald and for me, the highlight of the movie. Followed closely behind Law as Dumbledore. I would say, do give it a watch. And I can't wait for the next one. 👍
