Just Visiting

It is indeed a pleasure to watch Tom Hardy at play - not once, but twice for the same price. Legend is a good film, but it is desultory at times. It seems they didn't know whether to pay more attention to the flowering of a love story between one of the two psychos (both played by Hardy) and a good-natured, law abiding young woman (Emily Browning), or to the sordid and criminal activities of two men destined to spend their best years behind bars. So you get both worlds, in a sort of unfocused way.

Worth to see once because of the incredible performance of Tom Hardy. Other than that, nothing extra special in this gangster movie. Been there, done that. Rent it, don't buy.

Sometimes Tom Hardy is so good acting against himself that you forget it isn't two actors. I wish it went into a bit more about them at the end, but it was good regardless of that
