This movie did have some good to it, but the reason I am giving this a 3 star rating is because it's very depressing. Not just 1 person dies, but everyone dies in this movie. Borrowed from a relative and don't intend to buy.

This is one of the most beautiful, tragic love stories ever! Deeply longing and realistic of love's tight grip on our hearts and the sometimes fatal consequences. Epic story, gorgeous landscape, great acting by all. And Brad Pitt, as the tragically beautiful Tristan. A timeless and memorable tale of love in its many facets.

Epic story about a family of three brothers whose strong love for one another is tested as one beautiful lady steps into their lives. The clash & conflict of characters is beautifully unraveled as the movie moves on until the end. No wonder the movie won an Oscar for Cinematography... a joy to watch in my opinion.
