when this granny curses everybody & walks on the ceilings. Other than that, it seems like a low buget movie which happens entirely in this desert diner. Too much talking & not much action until the end when what it is supposed to be an archangels fighting in the diner. Theologically, it doesn't make sesnse but as a fiction, interesting & an alien attack. Let's all face it, part of the movie is not a golden globe material. It had its moments I agree.

The synopsis about terrorists launching biochemical attacks and flesh eaters, not sure where that came from. This is about a group of people defending humanity in a diner from hordes of possessed people. An archangel falls to earth to help these people and the child that one of them carries. It's definitely an entertaining movie, but not big budget. It has it's comedic bits and one-liners along with action, guns and explosions.

Intense action scenes, intricate story, and spectacular character development all come together to make this awesome movie. As of this writing, I've now seen the movie at least 4 times since it was originally released. Absolutely great acting helped me connect with even some of the lesser characters. The ending was a little rough, but I only think that because I've watched it so many times, that I actually noticed it. I hope there is a second one on the way, even during or after the TV show that's based off this film. You won't regret watching this!
