Witness a horror icon reborn! Backpacking through Ireland, two unsuspecting young couples discover a town's chilling secret when the town's residents offer them an old cabin at the edge of the woods. Soon, they discover that one of Ireland's most famous legends is a terrifying reality.

I was hoping this would be somewhat related to the other Leprechauns, but it's not at all. It's just some monster after them, and it doesn't even explain the "origin" part at the very least. Lots of boring screaming and oh no boring typical horror movie stuff. Don't watch it if you're hoping for it to be like the originals. Far from them.

I'm a huge leprechaun fan I own the entire collection this one is not even worth me getting. I've been waiting for this movie to release since last year when I finally saw it I was extremely disappointed. At least they did keep it dark but could have been a lot better especially cause two huge companies made it.

Why does the Leprechaun kill anyone in the movie. In the old movies he had the motivation to get its gold back in this one, it kills people for no reason. The people it kills don't even have it's gold. Not to mention it doesn't even act like a leprichaun. No jokes, trickery or magic. It's more like a hairless werewolf with preditor vision.
