Informacje o filmie

Hugh Jackman, Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway star in this critically-acclaimed adaptation of the epic musical phenomenon. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells the story of ex-prisoner Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman), hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Russell Crowe), after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's (Anne Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever. This enthralling story is a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit and 'an unforgettable experience' (Richard Roeper, RichardRoeper.com).

These are actors, not singers, most can't sing at all. The actress playing Eponine is one of the only the exceptions. They would have done much better to use Broadway stars instead of Hollywood talent that can't sing. A man dressed as Santa Claus is also in a sex scene, totally unacceptable in my book.

Rediculous and over blown, save your money and time, if your a fan of the music you will most likely enjoy it however Russell Crowe though a fine actor never should have done this mess he cant carry a tune here .

Very emotional powerful film, if you can closely relate to its premise. Russell Crowe may not have matched his role perfectly in this movie, but it's a noble effort. His "Sentinels" rooftop song could have been cut in place for more chase sequencing. Jackman and Hathaway were wonderful, as were the cast of unknowns. The original Broadway music modern visuals is what keeps this version going strong. Best thing about this movie is how it engrosses and captivates ; a great movie always demands attention.
