I am astounded at the dogged hunt of the policeman in pursuit of Jean Valjean. No matter the outcome of a life of repentance and good deeds, all for the theft of a loaf of bread. He wants blood.

This story is absolutely beautiful and the acting is perfect. It brings to life this story of redemption and love...much better than the new remake. Definitely a must-see!

One of the best movies with a decent, moral, and unadulterated story of how good always wins over evil. Excellent!
