Fearing they may never develop a real connection to him, they embark on a radical journey in which they compassionately join Kyle in his unique behaviors. This is a wonderful story about the Westphal family dealing with autism - in a time when less was understood about the condition, the frustration and blaming, the heartache, understanding and love - in particular Kyle's journey and perspectives to where he is today. Worth watching from the position of a caring, loving family. The film is very well done - in quality and story, the animations and family videos add to the heartfelt feeling. - Congrats to the Westphal family and Jenifer's studio house for the release.
