Level 16 is a shocking, dystopian thriller which mashes together the disturbing world of The Handmaid's Tale and Black Mirror to stunning effect. Sixteen-year-old Vivien is trapped in Vestalis Academy, a prison-like boarding school, where the students are taught the finer points of "feminine virtues." They've been led to believe that all of the intense grooming regimens and strict sleep schedules they've endured have been in the service of making them ideal adoptive daughters for high-society families. Vivien keeps to herself and sticks her neck out for no one. Until she is reunited with Sophia – the former friend who betrayed her. Together the girls embark on a dangerous search to uncover the horrifying truth behind their imprisonment. Boasting a delightfully morbid premise and a chilling setup, Level 16 ratchets up the insidious sense of wrongness before unleashing a truly skin-crawling climax.

Not a good ending because you don't find out what punishment is for the evil people... there's also lots you don't know throughout, like who is Alex and why do they have to do what they're doing for this big boss man? Why does the doctor owe him this? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ wouldn't watch again.

it's like this the reason there it's not sex trafficking , making wives for rich people , slaves or organs or something cool like brain transplants like an early seen implied spoilers its skin there doing this for there skin and only there face the rest is left on the table there i saved you an hour

Though this story has been done before, I enjoyed it. The story was metered out well with the reveals coming at a pace to stop you from getting bored but still have fun figuring out what's going on.
