Everything about the film is more than remarkable, Sam's life, his disease, and his parents. And how well contructed, written and filmed it is, giving us a wonderful balance between children and parents coping. and also educating us on the disease. But to me, the most important and succinct is the beginning frames, where Sam's comment are pure 13 year old and also pure "old soul" He speaks of what he would like to but can't (riding on the biggest roller coaster ever) and how progeria is not a major part of his life. The film-makers choosing this scene, sets before us the point of the movie, not how terrible progeria is, but how humans can choose to live their lives in the face of terribleness

Parents who have truly fell in love with there son and who wouldn't give up on faith in GOD KNOWING THAT HE CAN DO ALL THINGS
