When Laura stumbles upon her long-forgotten guitar, she rediscovers her love for songwriting and impulsively flies off to her first open-mic night, unexpectedly bringing her teenage son Shane along for the ride. As Laura starts to blossom in her new scene, Shane also embraces the new environment and soon begins to discover musical gifts of his own. As I watched this tale my heart not only linked with the characters, but also with the soundtrack. The ending speaks of the sacrifice that parents make gladly for the well-being of their children. Completely worth the rental and cannot wait till it comes out for purchase. -----Check out The Slightlys, their music is featured on the sound track; all original sounds.
