Casey Affleck and Elisabeth Moss star in the edge-of-your-seat survivalist thriller Light of My Life. A decade after a plague has wiped out nearly all of the world’s female population, a father (Affleck) and daughter live on the outskirts of what’s left of civilization as they once knew it. Disguising his daughter as a boy, the father struggles to protect her from newfound threats as they are forced from their home into dangerous territory. Prepared to defend his daughter at all costs, their bond and the character of humanity is tested.

it's garbage, it's a sad pathetic rip off of The Road only without great acting and without a basic beginning middle and end... Its obvious he sucks as an actor, and so much worse at directing, I wish I didn't waste a second of my life watching it and waiting for it to get good... Do yourself a favor and watch The Road...

i had high hopes for this movie based off the trailer and high rotten tomatoes score. some scenes were way too long. i almost turned off the movie based on the first scene, but since i paid $7, i continued to watch it. the ending was awful. it was as if the director couldn't decide how to end it, so he just said "here's good, fin, roll credits". don't spend money to rent or buy it. wait until its free. trust me. you'll thank me later.

Was so looking forward to this movie. I really like Casey Affleck and his work but this movie SUCKED! He wrote it, stared in & directed it. I had high hopes but it was a huge disappointment. Do not waste your money on this movie. I'm not even sure if God knows what he was thinking about when he ended it the way he did...
