Meh... Source material, Alan Glynn's book, was way better. This left loose ends untied and presented unswallowable implausibilities. And what kind of message is it ultimately promoting? That you need drugs to get ahead in this world? Get high to get high? Always look out for number one and never mind anyone else? The book character was better than that. I did like the scene when he was writing and the words were falling down around him, but little else. The trailer's better. Do read the book though.

Bradley Cooper does a great job in this. He holds the film together, which has a nice flow on the brain drug plot. But the ending is weak. He also doesn't really do enough with his abilities. Cast is decent. Worth a watch.

This film made me a millionaire. Found out NZT is real, started taking it, and went from there. It's a Chinese herb called Ginseng. Get Ginkyo Biloba, it's NZT. 3 stars because I found it to be real. -2 stars for not being smart enough.
