When a friend introduces out-of-work writer Eddie (Bradley Cooper) to a drug that makes him laser-focused and more confident than ever, the former nobody rises to the top of the financial world. His success draws the attention of business mogul Carl Van Loon (Robert De Niro), who sees this enhanced version of Eddie as the tool to make billions. Entertaining movie but some scenes are hair-pullingly stupid. Moral of story till the end is take drugs and you'll do and feel better :-/

i like this the first time i watched it for what that's worth, but on second viewing it really falls apart. nothing makes even a little sense. it's pretty candy. but it's empty of protein.

One of my favourite movies. Has many twists and unexpected events. Enjoyable film for almost anyone. Although it does lack a few things. You shall see
