A five-year-old Indian boy gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometres from home. He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia; 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family.

My mom and I love this movie and we cried together when Guddhu got lost.Guddhu tried to convince his brother Saroo that he can carry heavy staff. It was so touching to me and my mom. Sad story.

Saroo got suspicious when the family that found him on street wanted to sell him out, he escaped n fled away. So painful

This film really touched me, it really saddens me when I think that there are children all over the world who are struggling. It is so sad.
