I'll admit the book is great but they should have waited to make the film we are in 2016 close to being 2017 they had the actors and Technology of today I'm sure they would have made it as good as the actual book who knows sometimes books are better than but this movie can put an infant to sleep of boredom there's a reason they Rebooted Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory I am sure they rebooted this one

The reason I'm writing a review is that someone had said the book is so much better and the movie and the movie or them to sleep. I haven't read the book and I adore this movie! Actually I'd put this movie in my top 10. Remember.... To each his own 😉.

I have yet to own it because I would prefer to have a DVD, but it's from 1974. I do admit that the new 2016 telling if the story is good, but the songs and feeling of this movie is better.
