《瘋狂亞洲富豪》講述在地紐約客朱瑞秋(吳恬敏)與她長期交往的男友楊尼克(亨利高汀)一同前往他最好的朋友在新加坡舉行的婚禮。瑞秋對於第一次亞洲之旅感到很興奮，卻也很緊張馬上要見到尼克的家人。尼克從來不提自己的家世背景，瑞秋無從得知其中的關鍵細節。事實證明，尼克不僅是新加坡最有錢家族的後裔，更是全國最受追捧的單身漢之一。身為尼克的女朋友，她成為了社交名媛忌妒的目標。更不幸的是，尼克的母親(楊紫瓊)也不中意她。事實證明，金錢買不到愛情，但金錢肯定會將事情變得無比複雜。

I notice tons of 5 star and 1 star reviews so I'm going to be different and say 2 and a half stars. The script was for the most part what I'd call "trite", plus overall it wasn't that funny. However there was good acting by Michelle Yeoh, Constance and Awkwafina. Too much overacting by the girl who played Araminta. The only time I laughed out loud was when Awkwafina told Rachel that Eleanor would probably offer $omething in exchange for willfully disappearing.

I enjoyed the whole movie but my favorite person is 'Ashley even with all the money the family had she wasn't a snob like everyone else. The wedding entrance for the bride gets to me every single time I watch it.

Bad writing, bad acting, and the only POC were ALL SERVANTS. It's the quintessential "American in a foreign land" film, but with a modern twist. Still, it's deeply patriarchal and racist.
