In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Plays more like one of the good Terminator films, with the aging Wolverine protecting his friends from a younger more deadly "Programmed" version chasing them across the country.... Still it was good.

Interesting, because it went deeper not bigger. Not without it's moments were it loses its pacing and realism, but it is atmospheric and different enough from the others in the series to counter that. Some good chemistry between the actors too.

Hugh Jackman is again outstanding as Logan, going to miss the snarls and slashes. Patrick Stewart is amazing in his role as Prof X, just an amazing actor. Dafne Keen as Laura was excellent. Overall an amazing film!
