Beautifully directed and photographed, sincerely acted and with a fine cast. The action is compelling and will have you on the edge of your seat in places. Brings home the futility of conflict but has a very human message. Not the best film by far but I think if you watch it you will find yourself thinking about it for a long time. Not family entertainment and possibly a 'guy' film.

This is good in so many ways! The characters are brought to life so well, unlike the attempts in American Sniper. This is a far more rounded and entertaining film!

This is an amazing movie. Very well made and realistic. Almost seems like a documentary. It has a true story line, and it was excellently produced. The characters are portrayed well. The gunfire is interesting and personal rather than all-over-the-place like some other films. The story line is gripping and motivating. The Lone Survivor defies odds and manages to live to tell the tale. There are multiple motifs and themes in this film, which makes it interesting to watch multiple times. There are several moral complexes which harpe on humanitarian issues and show the consequences. It is fascinating to think what you would do in thier situation. This is my favourite movie of all time, and i reccomend it to everyone. Puts you in a good mood
