This is a fascinating documentary-style film about Academy Award®-winning actor Al Pacino's staging of Richard; and his simultaneous exploration of the relevance of Shakespeare to people in every walk of life. A wonderful documentary/film that actually doesn't just tell the story but EXPLAINS it as you are watching. The only way Shakespeare can be understood.. This is a brilliant production and Al Pacino deserves KUDOS. I could watch it over and over. Thanks so much to the actors and those who worked on this production.I'll never hear the words A HORSE. A HORSE MY KINGDOM FOR A HORSE again and not think of this adaptation. Thanks Al

I first stumbled upon the movie on VHS many years ago but I keep coming back to it again and again. It hasn't lost any of its interest over the years - classic.

Absolutely enthralled with this movie/documentary. Totally brilliant.
