From the singular mind of horror maestro Rob Zombie (HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES) comes a chilling plunge into a nightmare world where evil runs in the blood. THE LORDS OF SALEM tells the tale of Heidi (Sheri Moon Zombie of HALLOWEEN), a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, a "gift from the Lords." Heidi listens and the bizarre sounds within the grooves immediately trigger flashbacks of the town's violent past. Is Heidi going mad, or are the "Lords of Salem" returning for revenge on the modern-day town? Costarring Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD) and Bruce Davis (X-MEN).

The movie was good until halfway the story has to many holes in the plot and the ending makes no sense. As a fan of zombies music and other movies and a horror movie fan this was just tasteless, disgusting, and had way to many scenes that didn't even make sense. The movie should have been a short film not a full lengther. If you like movies that make no sense, involve satan, and a bunch of disgusting old and fat naked women than this may be for you.

I watched a bootleg copy of this movie in Afghanistan. I paid 1 dollar for it in the bazaar... Wish I could get my money back. This movie is boring empty nonsensical garbage. Don't believe me? The film ends with random clips used on the jumbotron in Zombie's live show, and Sherri Moon Zombie riding a taxidermy goat, follwed by an ICP Juggalo dry humping her from behind.

A movie that you have to tolerate, not enjoy. Grinds along at a snail's pace, with only minor thrills (not scares). An unsuccessful attempt at atmospheric horror. The most frightening image in the film is a methed-out Sherri Moon Zombie after a relapse. Given how boring the film is, I guess you can't really blame her.
