劇情長片《紐瓦克聖人》（The Many Saints of Newark）備受矚目，是 HBO 獲獎無數的開創性戲劇影集《黑道家族》前傳。少年安東尼索波諾在紐華克動盪不安的紛亂時代長大。所處城市的種族分裂問題日益嚴重，索波諾剛成年不久，就經歷敵對黑幫勢力崛起，而迪米歐全能犯罪家族在市內地盤的掌控亦備受挑戰。在此同時，索波諾仰慕的舅舅迪奇莫提桑提亦身陷變故之中，卻仍奮力將工作與個人責任管理得井井有條，因而啟發了外甥的高智商天賦，逐步蛻變成之後聞名於世的黑幫大老「東尼索波諾」。

The single worst movie experience I have ever had. It was a horrible mess of a story. It has made me lose faith in cinema. The show references were utter garbage and just shallow. I remember my mother used to beat me with a spoon and I would rather go back to that than to watch this piece of trash again.

I think the movie was fantastic... Sometimes fans build things up way too much in their minds.....and they let themselves down even before they see the movie...without an open mind, and pretend to watch something else that you have no knowledge about... Then u can have respect for the picture

I hate giving such a low rating but wow. That is time I'll never get back. I watched as a huge "Sopranos" fan, but with so much time between the end of that series and this prequel I tempered my expectations.
