A sentimental remake of "An Affair To Remember" buoyed by the performances of Garry Shandling, Harold Ramis, Kate Capshaw, Pierce Brosnan, and the always unforgettable and pitch-perfect Katherine Hepburn. At the time, folks and critics inferred Beatty's attachment to Bening was a rebound from his prior relationship with Madonna—as if Madonna were ever to be contained by any one person. Is it as good as the Cary Grant version? No. However, nobody is as perfect as Cary Grant, even Cary Grant.
