Philip (Brosnan), an Englishman living in Denmark, is a middle-aged widower and estranged single father. Ida (Dyrholm) is a Danish hairdresser who's just been left by her husband for a younger woman. The fates of these two souls are about to intertwine as they embark for a trip to Italy to attend the wedding of Patrick and Astrid, Philip's son and Ida's daughter. It's a story about seeking love and having the courage to change your life -- even when you think it's too late.

You must use subtitles for the 1st 10 minutes. Overall this was a carefree and witty rom com which respectfully addressed hard subjects like cancer and sexuality. It was also great to see middle age actors in a leading romantic role 😀

I wasn't able to understand the first 5-10 minutes that I watched and wasn't able to get English subtitles to appear either. I shut it off, dissapointed!

Un film super ! je désire le revoir même qu'avec les sous titres français ! je pense qu'il devrait repasser à la télévision ,pourquoi ne pas le revoir ? et sortir le DVD il y a des films plus vieux qui repassent ! ont ne comprend pas pourquoi
