Acerca desta película

“Love and Mercy: Faustina” begins with St. Faustina before Christ called her to religious life and follows her as she not only answers Christ’s call but receives the image of the Divine Mercy in a vision in 1931 in a tiny town in Poland. The image does not become a tangible reality until years later when her confessor convinces a local artist to paint the image. While St. Faustina would not live to see the world venerate the image of the Divine Mercy, her confessor sought Vatican approval and was met with many obstacles. It wasn’t until Pope John Paul II took interest in the image and St. Faustina’s story that the image was spread worldwide. Additionally, unique scientific analysis shown in “Love and Mercy: Faustina” proves that St. Faustina did see Christ in her vision.

Loved it, but not nearly as much as Jesus loves us. This film reveals what a personal relationship with Jesus means. He died for us out of love, so we must suffer and die to ourselves for him to show the authenticity of our love. Jesus desires that we live eternally with him and freely choose to be with him forever out of love for him. His mercy is a gift which we are free to accept or reject. I recommend this film to those who wish to better know Jesus as a real person and hopefully accept him in their hearts. Faustina renounces all the vain pleasures of this world early in the film to dedicate her life to Jesus and carry out his will with complete trust. Now she is eternally happy in the loving presence of Jesus with a joy that can never be experienced in this life. May this film inspire all viewers to be like her in how she personally relates to Jesus.

One very important thing I learned from this is that I am going to Hell. No question about it anymore. No need to pretend otherwise I reckon.

St Faustina shows us what it really means when we are told "With God, all things are possible"... And by our own efforts, nothing is possible.
