The strange story of David Huggins, a 74 year-old man who claims to have had a lifetime of encounters with otherworldly beings - including an interspecies romance with an extra-terrestrial woman (with whom he lost his virginity to). As a form of self-therapy, he chronicled it all in surreal oil paintings, few of which have ever been seen. Filmed in an intimate, nonjudgemental style, Love and Saucers lets David tell his story, and in turn lets the audience decide what is fact, fiction, and everything in-between.

A kind and thoughtful insight into the extraordinary life experiences of artist David Huggins that zips by within a short sixty minutes and leaves the viewer wanting to hear more of his otherworldly visitations. David is a wonderful narrator and explains the story behind each of the visitation paintings he shows. We see that within each of his strange yet beautiful works of art, resides a haunting and ultimately tender story of these amazing encounters. We discover that these beings have been visiting David from his early childhood and much of his adult life. Although the subject matter may seem bizarre to some, thankfully the documentary makers never sensationalise events and allow David and his paintings to speak for themselves.

Great documentary! To whomever left the 1 star it's obvious you never gave it a chance or are not a fan of docs in general. This is a very charming story about an interesting and eccentric man that lives an unconventional and fascinating life, everything anyone could want in a great documentary story. Worth seeing if you're into that sort of thing!

I enjoyed this movie for many reasons. The movie's sound and picture were superb. As silly as it sound for some, the movie displayed its story about one man and the outsiders of his life. I already recommended it to my friends and it is always something fun to talk about whenever we're bored.
