Based on Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel andadapted by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Ronald Harwood (The Pianist), Love In The Time Of Cholera is one of the world's most romantic stories. The drama traces the job-like vigil of Florentino Ariza (Javier Bardem), who waits for more than half a century to claim the hand of Fermina Daza (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), the woman he loves.

I thought maybe seeing movie would change my mind about disliking this ridiculous story. It didn't. Solid cast but . . . .
