The drama traces the job-like vigil of Florentino Ariza (Javier Bardem), who waits for more than half a century to claim the hand of Fermina Daza (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), the woman he loves.

I thought maybe seeing movie would change my mind about disliking this ridiculous story. It didn't. Solid cast but . . . .

A man's love for one would brings the virtue if patience out of himbin waiting.

Love this movie!!! One of my favorites.
