Neglected by her husband, Sarah embarks on an impromptu road trip with her young daughter and her best friend, Mindy. Along the way, the dynamic between the two friends intensifies before circumstances force them apart. Years later, Sarah attempts to rebuild their intimate connection in the days before Mindy’s wedding.

This was a great story that I think is all too real for many people whether you are straight, gay, whatever. They both loved each other seemingly beyond their circumstances but failed to properly communicate with one another. The timing in between one getting separated and the other finding new love could have bred a relationship worth exploring but again failure to communicate changed their circumstances once more. Despite their reconnection, which was evident of stronger feelings between them they failed to communicate. So one gets married while loving someone else and the other pines for the affection of the other. Life is short, you have to make the most of what you have when it's there. While I don't encourage cheating, they seemingly had time to figure things out after Sarah was separated and things got too serious with Lief. However missed opportunities will continue to be a regret for characters and real relationships alike with behavior similar to this. It's saddening.
