Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar's original feature film "Luca" is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca (voice of Jacob Tremblay) shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, Alberto (voice of Jack Dylan Grazer), but all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world just below the water's surface. "Luca" is directed by Academy Award® nominee Enrico Casarosa ("La Luna") and produced by Andrea Warren ("Lava," "Cars 3").

Ratings and reviews

This is a very wonderful movie, really loved it! Sharp animation and beautiful colours, it's overall looking nice. Not really a ground breaking movie but so much enjoyable as both adult and young audience can enjoy them. The story is very well written and as I can say, I enjoyed it alot. This is currently my all-time favourite movie!

i like this movie so much , like its funny and touching at the same times, I like the ending.. hope disney make luca 2 where alberto and luca meet and a new adventure? 👀

An average pixar disney storyline. Not a fan of the creature design. Soundtracks were excellent. 3/5
