Monica has been waking from dreams in which she commits violent acts toward her boyfriend, Kevin, who has recently moved in. Through the advice of friends she tries to get into see a famous but controversial sleep therapist known as The Sandman. She is denied treatment at first, but her violent dreams turn into sleepwalking and even threatening actions. Her own therapist doesn't seem able to help her, and when she finally gets into see The Sandman it becomes clear the very people offering to help her have some ulterior motive. Instead of being cured of her dark night terrors, she is dragged into a layer of sleep insanity that threatens to become permanent unless she commits a real act of violence. Features Bill Johnson, who played Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2.
