Only one operative has been awarded 16 purple hearts, and only one guy is man enough to still sport a mullet. In the 10 years since his fiancée was killed, special op MacGruber has sworn off a life of fighting crime with his bare hands. But when he learns his country needs him to find a nuclear warhead that's been stolen by his sworn enemy, Dieter VonCunth (Val Kilmer), MacGruber teams up with his trusty sidekick (SNL's breakout star Kristen Wiig) and an uptight lieutenant (Ryan Phillippe) to get the job done. The trio sets out on a rampage of utter destruction in this action comedy that's so over-the-top, it "makes The Hangover look like Beaches" (Joblo.com)!

Get the Unrated version(not on Google Play). IMHO, this dummied down movie is not Forte's or the other writers vision. Also my opinion, one of the best comedies of this decade so far. Give me this waaaay before the Hangovers please. Watching anything else would be counter intuitive.

Classic example of trying to take a 2 minute SNL skit and turn it I to a full length movie. This SHOULD have been a much better parody of the action tv/movies of the 80's but it was just uninteresting and boring....and not funny.

Epic car rides with pumping music, tennis ball bombs, this movie flaunts what other movies try to hide. Macgruber takes the celery and puts it right where the bad guys would never look... Enough said, watch and enjoy
