MAD AS HELL documents the tumultuous, at times hilarious and altogether astonishing trajectory of Cenk Uygur, The Young Turks' main host and founder, as he traverses from unknown Public Access TV host to internet sensation by way of YouTube. When he ventures into national television by landing the 6 PM time slot on MSNBC, Cenk's uncensored brand of journalism is compromised as he becomes a thorn in the side of traditional news media; his unwavering dedication to speaking the truth puts him at the very nexus of the battle between new and old media, and makes MAD AS HELL not only entertaining, but incredibly timely as well.

Great to have the background story of the show. Someday maybe the background story of the people who started it all? This doco was very much like the TYT political show itself, Somewhat depressing when it highlights the corruption but, at the same time, the very fact that there exists a show where wrong doings are exposed, gives you hope. Also that having faith in yourself is the only real magic.

I love the young turks. been a fan for years. The film is good and gives some great insight into cenk, but it's nothing very spectacular... But maybe that's the point. To just show a normal dude who wanted to be big in news commentary, and how he got there. I think Ana probably has a more entertaining story.

Narcissistic douche who obscures the facts on many issues. The interview with Karen Straughman, he blows his top and tells her to go male her a sandwich. He's also a Armenian genocide denier, hence the name young Turks (look it up).
