Mad Max, the film which brought Mel Gibson into world-wide prominence, depicts a futuristic world of chaos on the roads, dominated by motorcycle gangs, one of which is uprsued by the vengeful cop known as Mad Max. Max and the gang's worlds converge when the gang wants Max as badly as he wants them, especially after they target him for the death of their former leader.

Even though I'm part of that millennial group of idiots I'm 30, some of you people need to understand this is a different style of storytelling compared to what you're used too, example the opening narrative the world has been ravaged by nuclear war only a small portion of the world has been left undamaged but due to these wars later on in mad Max 2 everything will become a dry desert due to the messed up climate from the wars and water and gas will become hard to find.

A little hard to follow at some points, and definitely not what you'd expect if all you know about Mad Max is Fury Road advertising and the XBONE/PS4 game, but it was really good. Will probably update this after a second viewing, but my first reaction: Good movie, if you're planning on watching any of the Mad Max films, don't skip it.

All the young people don't understand when the movie was set is; after a nuclear war throughout the rest of the world and it's the day-to-day struggles of the people in Australia which was farthest away from the Fallout and trouble of the nuclear bombs. Enjoy it for what it is it's a movie don't critique don't freak out Don't Panic it's just enjoy the movie and it's one of the best movies of all times. Too many people nowadays try to analyze and overanalyze and pick a part movie . Don't do that, it ruins it
