About this movie

Tom leads a good life: he's sexy, he's successful, and he knows he can always rely on Hannah, his delightful best friend and the one constant in his life. It's the perfect setup until Hannah goes overseas to Scotland on a six-week business trip... and Tom is stunned to realize how empty his life is without her. He resolves that upon her return, he'll ask Hannah to marry him -- but is floored when he learns that she has become engaged to a handsome and wealthy Scotsman and plans to move overseas. When Hannah asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees to fill the role... but only so he can attempt to woo Hannah and stop the wedding before it's too late. © 2008 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. and Beverly Blvd LLC. This movie sucks! The moral of the story go for the sissy play boy who will never truly grow up or commit. Face it he only wanted her once she had someone else. This movie is a poor example to young women and none of the jokes land. Overrated actors and stupid plot. Don’t waste your time on Patrick Dumpsterfire ‘s horrid movie.

This could have been a really good film, but there was just so much immaturity, particularly on the part of the male, lead character. His father is also ridiculously immature for a man of his years. The competitor for the female, lead character's affections is not believable. The other male characters are mostly very immature. IMHO, there was far too much emphasis on wealth and the material, for a romcom. It had its moments, and it was okay for viewing once.
