After an academic injustice, Lena (Kristina Ellery) struggles to find purpose in her life. To make ends meet, she dances at a quaint strip-club known to locals as "Mecca". Lena's rebellious nature causes tension with her estranged father (David Keith) and her new boss (Tera Patrick). Sara (Erica Jenkins) is an underwhelmed housewife and waitress who's always lived by society's rules. Marrying her first love straight out of high school seemed like a good idea at the time, but the monotony of living paycheck to paycheck with nothing to show for it begins to create a divide between her and her blue-collared husband (Tony Denman). One night, Lena helps Sara during a chance encounter, causing a fresh yet dangerous friendship begin to flourish as Sara is lured into a dark yet oddly compelling world.
