Maleficent explores the untold story of Disney's most iconic villain from the classic Sleeping Beauty and the elements of her betrayal that ultimately turn her pure heart to stone. Driven by revenge and a fierce desire to protect the moors over which she presides, Maleficent cruelly places an irrevocable curse upon the human king's newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Aurora is caught in the middle of the seething conflict between the forest kingdom she has grown to love and the human kingdom that holds her legacy. Maleficent realizes that Aurora may hold the key to peace in the land and is forced to take drastic actions that will change both worlds forever.

I would rate this movie 3 stars... just okay. But Angelina Jolie takes it to a whole new level deserving an extra star all to herself. But it kind of feels weird to watch because her performance is so awesome while everyone else's is so dull. Still graphics are great, story line is a successful twist on an old classic even if it does feel like it's all been done before.

As a person I don't le Angelina Jolie. I have my own personal reasons why. But as n actress I admit her work is good. Yes she is beautiful to look at but I feel she lost her beauty inside. I love this movie and the next one.. I love the story and she did a great job as Maleficent. I hope like Maleficent she in time will find love in her heart and no more hatred. Meanwhile I will always enjoy her acting. Pity she lost some of her hum humanity

It was confusing at the start because i didn't know who the princess was (later i found out it was sleeping beauty). The movie had depth and and a great story, it was really touching at some parts, and had a sense of humor. This movie is great for 10yrs and up i would recomend choosing a diffrent movie if you are planning to watch it with small kids because they could get scared in some parts(i'm not going to tell). Over all it is another awesome movie by disney!
