About this movie

The story of Disney's most iconic villain continues in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The years have been kind to Maleficent and Aurora. Their relationship, born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished. Yet hatred between man and the fairies still exists. Aurora's impending marriage to Prince Phillip is cause for celebration as the wedding serves to unite the Kingdom of Ulstead and the neighboring Moors. But, when an unexpected encounter introduces a powerful new alliance, Maleficent and Aurora are pulled apart to opposing sides in a Great War, testing their loyalties and causing them to question whether they can truly be a family. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil stars Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith.

Awful. Characters lack any real common sense - makes it hard to like any of them. A women attacks hench magical creatures using only a piano and they can't figure out a good way to stop her. One scene switches between Maleficent & Aurora staring at each other gormless for a minute whilst the bad guy is standing next to them. Characters fly head on at the enemies in a straight line when they would go around or above. Nobody takes a moment to mourn the dead as a wedding is more Important.

What was the point?! Plot a mess, characterless, disengaging. I have literally no idea why so much money was spent on this film. Michelle acted well and the english bloke king..what's his name? Shame, as I enjoyed the first film

Disappointing sequel to the fairly good first Maleficent. Criminally underutilised Michelle Pfeiffer. The plot's a bit of a mess and unfortunately it's full of cheap looking CGI.
