Prequel to the 2005 film. Two plots going on here- 1. Killer and kid apprentice 2. Grieving teen orphan coming to live with her uncle/his family in a small country town. 2 plots, 2 families. Its slow going the first hour and the film didn't balance the 2 plots very well but it all payed off nicely in the last 40mins, creating an original backstory/origin to killer Martin Bristol. The ending has a very cool tie-in to the next film Malevolence (2005) and also uses the same location as before๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
