As a middle aged male, I'm struggling to think why I should like this film... But it's just really good fun, lots of self parody by some great actors and actresses (who must have had an absolute hoot making it) and a great sound track. Kick your shoes off and dance like noone is watching!

It is just only okaish. Not the wow factor of a lion king nor the depth of a show like wicked. I also felt the actors did not have such a great screen presence, nor was I amazed by their performances. It was not engaging and at most parts I felt bored. I dragged along a special friend to impress, I don't think they were! Only thing I did like was the music and the lyrics of "I've been cheated by you since I don't know when, So I made up my mind, it must come to an end........" It is such a well written song, I could give 5stars taking aside just the song by itself. I think it's a waste of money, there are much better shows out there.

Bold attempt. Pierce, please don't sing, just look good, and be charasmatic- true, singing's not for you. This sounds like a karaoke for A- listers, what with one song almost seamlessly running into another. It was ok/fun, sure, it'll make you smile on a Sunday afternoon. Or maybe you can find something else that'll tickle your fancy. "Gimme, gimme, gimme..." certainly did rekindle my love for Abba. To my shame, and through the passage of time, I stopped remembering just how brilliant they were.
