I've not read the book, but I will seek it out. This was a wonderful adaptation of what I can imagine was an excellent book, and when does Tom Hanks ever disappoint? I've purchased this film as I think it's a classic. Not quite 'It's a Wonderful Life', but sweet enough to have you with some kleenex out.
