From the start this bloated pile of garbage tries to be different and moody, starting with how krypton ends and goes down from there. It would appear Russell Crowe took the part so he could try his third rate Marlon Brando impression. As for actor playing superman Henry something or Man of Bland, just a God awful mess. I was so hoping for this to be awesome, nope. stick with the 78 version and smallville. But if you like lots of shiny cgi and endless building destruction..rent transformers

Superman 2 gets a terrible nightmarish remake in which instead of drawing General Zod to the fortress of solitude in order to outsmart Zod(and his partners in crime) by brilliantly removing his powers, Superman instead causes billions of dollars damage to Metropolis, potentially kills many bystanders and mercilessly breaks Zod's neck. Terrible interpretation of the iconic character. Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder should be ashamed.

I was thrilled to see that a new Superman film was made, but MAN OF STEEL does not steal the spotlight in one of the worst casting calls for this movie. The chemistry between Adams and Cavill just look as bad as the delivery. This over the top fluff is neither memorable or a master piece, but is an embarresment to everything Superman should be. Thumbs down.
