In the film critics call a "white-knuckle action thriller," ex-cop Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington, Avatar & Clash of the Titans) escapes from prison to plan the ultimate heist: steal a $40 million diamond from cutthroat businessman David Englander (Ed Harris), and in the process prove his innocence. From the ledge of the famous Roosevelt Hotel, with the whole world watching, Cassidy plays a clever game of cat & mouse with the NYPD while his dutiful brother Joey (Jamie Bell) works against the clock to extract the diamond and reveal the truth.

How far would you go to prove your innocence? Would you break out of prison at gun point in a high speed chase?. Would you tell your brother to steal an expensive diamond from a max security vault? Would you then stand on ledge of a hotel in New York City in front of a mass crowd, NYPD and news media just to prove that you're innocent? This is totally unrealistic, and its exactly what happens in this movie. After having committed all these crimes, the guy on the ledge ( forgot his name) gets no jail time and walks free, not even his brother. Its a waste of a movie. Very disappointing.

Sam plays it good in this suspense driven crime movie where the mystery unfolds beautifully.

Good movie. I really enjoyed it. you think you know what's going on, but you got it wrong...the end was a surprise to me. I bought the DVD
