This movie wasn't slow and it wasn't boring. This is a film for mature, calm ppl that just want to relax for the evening and step into someone else's world. If you know how to step into other ppl's shoes and could feel the pain and happiness of others ..get a cup of warm tea or light snacks, relax and enjoy life by the sea. You may want to keep a box of kleenix nearby if you ever lost a sibling. But it does have a realistic good ending😉

I appreciate this film for what it is, a heart-wrenching story we can all relate to in some capacity, but I don't see myself revisiting it often. However, it is a movie that I'll certainly remember, because films like this are hard to come by. The way dialogue plays out from the long awkward exchanges to the deeper heart-felt moments all feel very human. This film presents things as they are, while letting the power of suggestion act as a guide, which is fitting for dealing with such heavy subject matter. That's not to say the film is predictable. From start to finish the direction of the story is always up to question. By the end we're never given that satisfying resolution we've come to expect. Instead we're left contemplating the affects of grief, and the ending really speaks to how commonly grief is left unresolved.

There are so many haters out there. Not every movie is suppose to blow you away with visuals. Some movies are meant to make you feel, and this film does a great job of examining love and loss. The whole movie is bitter sweet but is a beautifully told story and the ending is wonderful you just have to think for yourself, it is not spelled out for you. Stop hating because it's not want you wanted.
