This is a brilliant and thoughtful film. I've seen many people criticise the film being slow and dull. However the purpose of this film wasn't about the best story. This film was using the reflection of 2 characters, showed us the 2 different ways of mindset in life. Letting things go vs holding onto the past. The contradiction between the 2 created a clear boundary line that make us realise life is all about moving forward. Sometimes, there are certain things you have to let go.

i watched this movie at age 50. Which means I've seen a lot of really good movies previous. IMO this is the best movie ever. Yes it's slow. But it's not easy showing the emotions on demand. The scene near the end, where his ex, is pushing pushchair, and starts crying. That's not easy to do. Brilliant acting

Heavy story about the burdens of fatherhood. Other than one scene, very emotionally unengaging. Quite slow and dull. In all, I wouldn't recommend purchasing. Rental if you're up for a hit-or-miss.
