From a producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes this shock-filled descent into fear. After a man is seemingly strangled in his bed, criminal psychologist Kate Fuller (Olga Kurylenko) interviews the sole witness, the victim’s eight-year-old daughter, Sophie. When asked to identify the killer, Sophie says, "Mara." As Kate digs into the case, she unearths a community of people who claim to be tormented by a shadowy menace, a centuries-old demon who kills her victims as they sleep.

I give it 4 stars because it's more professional and not one of those cheap movies someone made with a cell phone with a group of friends. The only problem with movie is things happen for no reason. It's like it's not got an intelligence to it. No twist. But it's good. It's on a level a little lower than Lights Out. It's better than majority of movies you will find on here. I'd try it.

Had high hopes... it fizzled out half way thru for me. It's not cheaply done and it definitely could have been worse but it certainly could have been better too... if you can't find anything else, watch it.

Darkness Falls, Lights Out imitation. oh yeah, and don't fall asleep or you'll die. Where have I heard that one before
