I love stop motion and this is a brilliant art film. The story and documentary style filming is where it falls flat for me. Marcel is cute for a while but his voice and personality can only carry the story so far on it's own until you're craving more interaction with other characters. I really wish it was more focused on just telling a story of him finding his family rather than some dude filming a documentary; I have a hard time watching films shot this way. I can only suspend disbelief so much

Cineplex. International Village. First of all, this is a film that can't see what is seen by looking at the trailer, and the expectation is super high, and it is estimated that 85% of the people given are the existence of their own brain supplements. To be honest, it seems to be reading a somewhat sensitive social horror diary, if it were not for the setting of a green-eyed 1inch shell wearing orange sneakers (grandmother died and blacked out with a marker), replace it with an adult.. It's proba

Great film, I thoroughly enjoyed it. 😊 I wasn't expecting to genuinely care about Marcell the Shell, but he's a great character. Plus the stop motion animation is seamlessly integrated into the real world. Highly recommended. 👍🏽
