When quiet, Midwesterner Orfamy Quest (Sharon Farrell) hires Marlowe (James Garner) to find her brother, what should be a simple case for the detective quickly becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse pulling Marlowe into Los Angeles' seamy gangster underworld.
