I'm a big international animation fan so I'm partial but my family and I loved this movie. It was charming and sweet but sad and honest. The animation was fantastic and explored some really cool traditional as well as experimental styles. It's a very accessible animated film you could show to anyone 7-8+. The dog does die in the movie and it's sad but mostly its an uplifting and very sweet film.
