Carrie takes her work very seriously and doesn't have time for a social life. Her sister, Katie, is a bubbly restaurateur getting married on Christmas Eve. An unexpected stipulation in their grandmother's will states that ownership of the family company will pass to whichever sister marries first. After a series of misguided plans to marry before Katie, Carrie finds love in Dylan, the lawyer who should be her enemy. With Christmas Eve fast approaching, will Carrie elope in time?
